[My Design]Final project (product part)_REconstruction

REconstruction is an interactive accessory for office workers.

Office workers often feel bored and pressured while working. Therefore the concept is going to let people get delightful feedback simultaneously when they work, by transforming the workers’ emotion into pleasure.

Four stationery accessories, stapler, calculator, tape dispenser and pen holder are designed as a concrete city. While using, it’s like building own city. Concrete is chosen to present architecture and urban feeling and give users cold and serious sense at first sight. However when they use them, they understand how interesting the products are by further interaction with people. It generates a contrast experience and makes the feeling stronger.

REconstruction-水泥互動產品,當使用者在使用產品的同時給予情感的回饋,讓使用者轉變心情或是抒發感情,利用水泥當材質有另一種對比設計的思維在裡面,水泥給人冷酷,單調,簡潔的感覺,使用之後透過與產品互動的回應下,讓使用者在心情轉換上面有更大的差別度,能使使用者更開心或更快樂.

Stapler-making your mark- user can choose the face showed user’s feeling to impress on the paper. The impression face mark and staple compose a complete face. User will understand that whether sad or happy at that time, temper will disappear by time like impression face mark.

利用釘書機抒發當時工作的心情,讓心情印在紙上,用隱喻的方式表達自己的情感,而這感覺跟紙上的印記一樣會跟著時間慢慢消逝,情感也會撫平.

 

Calculator-the music you created- This concrete calculator can record the order user press. After that, user just needs to push play button and then calculator will play a song what user make before. The boring typing thing is transform a lovely music to user.
計算機會記錄使用者所按的順序,對應到相對的音符,計算機能播出使用者剛剛所創造的音樂

 

Tape dispenser-reminding you take a break- The wheel which has six symbols of break reminder on it rolls as how long tape is taken by user. They are rolling together at the same time. Besides, there is a triangle target to point which icon worker need to do for break. 
當拉出膠帶時,驕態台的轉輪會跟著轉動,利用上面的符號來提醒工作者休息的項目,藉此來告訴工作者適當的休息能改善工作上的效率

Pen holder-create surprise- There are two parts in this products holder and little figure eraser on the top surface. It is random to make eraser jump out while worker put the pen inside the holder. It makes surprise and fun with unknown timing.
筆筒是一個類似海盜桶的裝置,每一次會變換插孔陷阱的位置,當筆插到陷阱的位置,橡皮擦小人就會彈出,給使用者一個驚喜,轉換一下無聊上班族的心情
